Plant Manager - Nashville, TN

LKQ Pick Your Part, a division of LKQ Corporation is the largest nationwide provider of aftermarket collision replacement products, recycled OEM products and refurbished OEM collision replacement products such as wheels, bumper covers and lights. Additionally, we are a leading distributor of paint and body shop supplies.

We are currently looking for a Plant Manager to join our new pick your part location in Nashville, TN. In this role you will oversee daily operations, including managing the start up of this new yard, from purchasing inventory, staffing and training to ensure the location meets any deadlines expected.

As the Plant Manager some of your responsibilities will be:

  • Interact daily with customers
  • Working daily
  • Developing and adhering to budgetsy
  • Daily Operations-including purchasing cars
  • Ensure cars are being processed correctly
  • Adhere to Federal and State guidelines
  • Managing location workforce
  • Profit and Loss, Total Revenue
  • Provide ideas and implement areas of improvement
  • Ensure compliance with safety and EAP
  • Enforcement of Safety requirements and standards
  • Employee development and building a team environment
  • Communicate with multiple locations and managers

Qualified candidates will have:

  • Strong communication and computer skills
  • Knowledge of automotive parts
  • Knowledge of EAP standards a Plus
  • Background in metal recycling a PLUS
  • Background in Production environment or materials management a PLUS
  • Have a proven track record of process improvements and leadership
  • Must be able to work in all weather conditions, stand and walk for long periods of time
